Dive Site:

The JJF was an Army ocean going tug sunk in 2016 as part of the artificial reef program. It is intact and upright making navigation fairly easy. It is possible to penetrate the wreck, though it is only recommended for those who are properly trained. This site harbors common species such as sea bass and flounder and the occasional surprise such as sunfish, whale sharks, and manta rays. Its shallow depth allow divers ample bottom time and is a great site to relax and observe wildlife while gaining experience. For those who pay close attention the site occasionally harbors a megalodon tooth (I have personally found one) and octopus love the nooks, crevices, and rocks around the wreck.
